Fuentes para el estudio de mujeres en la Argentina de principios del XX en la Manzana Jesuitica de Córdoba

    El inicio del siglo XX encontró a muchas mujeres que vivían en Argentina trabajando, estudiando en las universidades, transitando experiencias feministas, como también participando en asociaciones profesionales o de beneficencia. De muchas de ellas, como también de las restricciones jurídicas que las feministas cuestionaban han quedado huellas en documentos y libros que se encuentran albergados en la Biblioteca Mayor de la Universidad de Córdoba y en su Archivo General e Histórico, ambos situados en la Manzana Jesuítica de Córdoba (Córdoba Capital). Con este trabajo nos proponemos identificar y visibilizar estas fuentes -que obviamente no agotan la presencia y participación de las mujeres en la sociedad de entonces- y que conforman el patrimonio cultural de Córdoba.

    At the beginning of the 20th century, many women living in Argentina worked, studied at universities, went through feminist experiences, as wel as participated in professsonal or charitable associations. Traces of many of them, as well as of the legal restrictions that feminist questioned, have remained in documents and books that are housed in the Main Library of the National University of Córdoba and in its General and Historical Archive, both located in the Jesuit Block of Córdoba (Córdoba Capital). In this work, we propose to identify and make visible these sources -which obviously do not exhaust the presence and participation of women in the society of that time- and that are part of the cultural heritage of Córdoba.
