En esta comunicación se analizan los testamentos de mujeres que vivieron en la ciudad de San Juan durante la primera mitad del Siglo XIX. Se centra la atención en el contenido de la fuente-testamentos- para analizar los aportes y contribuciones que brinda para la construcción de la historia de las mujeres y los estudios de género. Los mismos se hallan reunidos y compilados en el Archivo del Poder Judicial de la Provincia de San Juan y abarcan los años comprendidos entre 1802 y 1848.

This communication analyzes the wills of women who lived in the city of San Juan during the first half of the 19th century. Attention is focused on the content of the source-wills- to analyze the contributions and contributions it provides for the construction of women's history and gender studies. They are gathered and compiled in the Archive of the Judicial Power of the Province of San Juan and cover the years between 1802 and 1848.
