La producción y el comercio de ánforas romanas en Saguntum

    En este artículo se presenta un estado de la cuestión sobre el comercio de ánforas romanas en Sagunto, centrándose especialmente en la producción de ánforas vinarias de la forma Dressel 2, que fueron exportadas a Roma a mediados del siglo I d.C., y que al parecer continuaron produciéndose durante el siglo II d.C. Se presenta también la importación de otros materiales, como las ánforas vinarias de la Layetania y de Tarraco, así como las salazones béticas, las ánforas vinarias itálicas y del Mediterráneo oriental, y las importaciones africanas del siglo IV d.C., que marcan el momento final de la importación.

    This article presents a state of the art on the Roman amphorae trade in Sagunto, focusing especially on the production of Dressel 2 amphoras of wine, which were exported to Rome in the middle of the 1st century AD, and which apparently continued. occurring during the 2nd century AD.

    The importation of other materials is also presented, such as wine amphoras from Layetania and Tarraco, as well as Baetic salted meats, Italic wine amphoras and from the eastern Mediterranean, and African imports from the 4th century AD, which mark the final moment of the import.
