Resumen de ¿Emociones sin fenomenología? Reflexión sobre las investigaciones en emociones de profesores

  El siguiente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la literatura sobre emociones de los profesores. Este análisis es relevante pues en este campo se han detectado problemas en relación al concepto de emoción y porque se ha observado una desconexión entre lo que se realiza en esta área y los avances sobre estos estados mentales en el contexto amplio de las ciencias psicológicas. Para lograr el objetivo señalado se hizo una revisión de la literatura sobre las emociones de profesores, sobre emociones en el contexto amplio de las ciencias psicológica y sobre algunos aportes provenientes de la filosofía de la mente y de la psicoterapia humanista que se consideraron pertinentes. Posteriormente, se compararon ambos antecedentes. Como resultado se concluye la presencia de un “sesgo representacional” y se reflexiona sobre la relevancia de incorporar a esta labor investigativa los aspectos propiamente fenomenológicos y corporales de las emociones de los profesores.

  This article critically analyzes the literature on teachers’ emotions to discuss the concept of emotion and examine the disconnection between the research in this field and the progress that has been made on emotions in the broader context of psychological sciences. To achieve this objective the review consisted of two parts: the literature on the teachers’ emotions and the literature on emotions in the broader context of the psychological sciences. Delving into the main elements of the constructed emotion theory; some contributions from the philosophy of mind and humanistic psychotherapy were also examined. Subsequently, both antecedents were compared. As a result, the presence of a “representational bias” in this area is concluded and the relevance of incorporating the properly phenomenological and bodily aspects of the teachers’ emotions into this research work is reflected.
