    Los alebrijes no son solo el producto de un acto libre de producción fantástica, sino el ejemplo concreto de un esquematismo fenomenológico; si bien parecen colocarse en el universo simbólico, su producción se mueve más bien en el marco de la pura fantasía. Eso significa que la naturaleza de estos productos (al borde entre arte y artesanía) no es ni representativa (o simbólica) ni abstracta, sino debemos pensarla paradójicamente como meramente fenoménica. Los alebrijes nacen en la profundidad del inconsciente fenomenológico, es decir en el nivel de la más profunda fenomenización del fenómeno y en ellos el sentido se encuentra todavía en estado naciente. Nuestro objetivo es llegar a entender la experiencia relacionada con este producto del arte a través del marco teórico y conceptual del filósofo belga Marc Richir

    The alebrijes are not only the product of a free act of fantastic production, but the concrete example of a phenomenological schematism; although they seem to be placed in the symbolic universe, their production is rather within the framework of pure fantasy. This means that the nature of these products (on the border between art and craft) is neither representational nor abstract, but we must paradoxically think of it as merely phenomenal. The alebrijes are born in the depth of the phenomenological unconscious, that is to say, at the level of the deepest phenomenalization of the phenomenon, and in them the meaning is still in its nascent state. Our objective is to understand the experience related to this art product through the theoretical and conceptual framework of the Belgian philosopher Marc Richir.
