Mujeres migrantes en prostitución: Experiencias de ambivalencia y propuestas de afrontamiento social desde la sororidad

    Se establece la prostitución como afrontamiento de la mujer migrante ante la pobreza extrema para cumplir su rol materno y de cuidadora familiar, desencadenándole ambivalencia al cuestionar valores morales, estigma social y valía. Analiza el contexto de frontera y desigualdad femenina, la invisibilización de la prostitución como condición cultural esclavista. Con un abordaje de estudios de casos, con entrevistas en profundidad a cuatro mujeres migrantes entre 25 a 35 años que ejercen prostitución, trianguladas con datos de recorridos cartográficos, entrevistas a dos mujeres migrantes conocedoras de la realidad de prostitución y entrevista a una autoridad policial del sector. El análisis de datos con software AtlasTi, triangulación de actores y hallazgos a partir de redes semánticas, permitieron destacar percepciones de cuidado y entrega familiar, dolor y reconocimiento por falta de oportunidades, compromiso moral como cuidadoras de sus familias, quienes se encuentran en vulnerabilidad. En lo personal existe nulidad de su rol de mujer como autocastigo, necesidad de aceptación por parte de su familia, se antepone el rol materno, se restringen los roles sociales al aislarse, evitando la creación de vínculos filiales y amorosos, baja autoestima y descuido físico.

    It establishes prostitution as a migrant woman's coping with extreme poverty in order to fulfill her role as mother and family caregiver, triggering ambivalence by questioning moral values, social stigma and worth. As situated research, it analyses the context of frontier and female inequality, as well as the invisibilisation of prostitution as a cultural condition of slavery towards women. With a hermeneutic, qualitative approach and case design, with in-depth interviews with four migrant women between 25 and 35 years of age who work in prostitution, triangulated with data from cartographic tours, interviews with two migrant women who are knowledgeable about the reality of prostitution and an interview with a police authority in the sector. Data analysis with AtlasTi software, triangulation of actors and findings from semantic networks, allowed us to highlight perceptions of care and family commitment, pain and recognition for lack of opportunities, moral commitment as caregivers of their families who are in vulnerability. On a personal level, there is a nullity of their role as women as self-punishment, the need for acceptance by their family, the maternal role takes precedence, social roles are restricted by isolating themselves, avoiding the creation of filial and loving bonds, low self-esteem and physical neglect.
