Resumen de A erotização do feminino, o grotesco e a carnavalização em Caim, de José Saramago

  This article proposes an analysis of the eroticization of the feminine, the grotesque and carnivalization in Cain (2011), by José Saramago. The theoretical outline is based on the contributions of Bakhtin (1996), Battaille (1987) and Whitmont (1991) that trace a relationship between carnivalization, eroticism and issues concerning the feminine. This study was elaborated from the perspective of the parody of the sacred text and the representation of sacred characters like Eve and Lilith. It reflects on the use of eroticism and sexuality as a means of empowering and valuing the female subject. In addition, Saramago seeks to give protagonism to the human being, even knowing that the means used for this go against religious dogmas and the rules of control of the woman's body, very much in vogue in patriarchal society. Furthermore, it talks about the carnal desires that jeopardize the Christian and Jewish traditions and the foundations of the patriarchal culture that exercised and exercises great power in society until today.

  Propõe-se neste artigo uma análise acerca da erotização do feminino, do grotesco e da carnavalização em Caim (2011), de José Saramago. O recorte teórico se baseia nas contribuições de Bakhtin (1996), Battaille (1987) e Whitmont (1991) que traçam uma relação sobre a carnavalização, o erotismo e a questões concernentes ao feminino. Este estudo foi elaborado sob a perspectiva da paródia do texto sagrado e a representação de personagens sagrados como Eva e Lilith. Reflete-se sobre o uso do erotismo e da sexualidade como meio de empoderar e valorizar o sujeito feminino. Além disso, Saramago busca dar protagonismo ao ser humano, mesmo sabendo que os meios usados para isso vão contra os dogmas religiosos e as regras de controle ao corpo da mulher, muito em voga na sociedade patriarcal. Ademais, fala-se sobre os desejos carnais que põe em risco as tradições cristã, judaicas e as bases da cultura patriarcal que exerceu e exerce grande poder na sociedade até os dias hodiernos.
