Resumen de Articulación del potencial turístico sustentable de la comunidad yoreme-mayo y su contribución al bienestar social

  Existen diferentes formas de evaluar la viabilidad turística de un territorio, pero son escasas aquellas que se enfocan como primera etapa, conocer la opinión de la comunidad bajo análisis, no resultaría correcto preconcebir ideas en relación a qué tipo de elementos, características o atractivos serían los mejores, si éstos no son identificados por los mismos miembros del territorio en mención. En este sentido, el propósito primordial del presente estudio es realizar una articulación del potencial turístico de la comunidad Yoreme - Mayo en la sindicatura de Mochicahui, y su contribución al bienestar social sustentable en el Municipio de El Fuerte, Sinaloa; a través de la identificación de los recursos naturales y culturales de la comunidad, determinando los sitios con mayor viabilidad para la práctica y desarrollo del turismo a partir de la opinión de los mismos pobladores. Como parte del diseño metodológico la investigación se fundó bajo la perspectiva etnográfica, se llevaron a cabo técnicas de investigación documental y de campo bajo un enfoque mixto de indagación, se utilizó un cuestionario compuesto por 15 preguntas que se aplicó a 375 residentes de tres comunidades indígenas, también 15 entrevistas semiestructuradas a personajes clave de la población, conjuntamente con procedimientos de observación no participante. Entre los principales hallazgos, se describen las peculiaridades, recursos naturales y culturales más importantes de la zona, destacando la Semana Santa Yoreme, asimismo, los resultados permitieron conocer la postura de la población en relación a la adopción del turismo, no solo para generar ingresos económicos, sino como oportunidad para compartir y mantener vivas sus tradiciones.

  There are different ways of evaluating the tourist viability of a territory, but there are few that focus as a first stage, knowing the opinion of the community under analysis, it would not be correct to preconceive ideas in relation to what type of elements, characteristics or attractions would be the better, if they are not identified by the same members of the territory in question. In this sense, the primary purpose of this study is to make an articulation of the tourist potential of the Yoreme - Mayo community in the Mochicahui union, and its contribution to sustainable social welfare in the Municipality of El Fuerte, Sinaloa;

  through the identification of the natural and cultural resources of the community, determining the most viable sites for the practice and development of tourism based on the opinion of the residents themselves. As part of the methodological design, the research was based on the ethnographic perspective, documentary and field research techniques were carried out under a mixed inquiry approach, a questionnaire consisting of 15 questions was applied to 375 residents of three indigenous communities, also 15 semi-structured interviews with key figures in the population, together with non-participant observation procedures. Among the main findings, the most important peculiarities, natural and cultural resources of the area are described, highlighting Holy Week Yoreme, likewise, the results allowed us to know the position of the population in relation to the adoption of tourism, not only to generate income economic, but as an opportunity to share and keep their traditions alive.
