Resumen de Relevancia económica del cálculo de los costos en la actividad quirúrgica del Hospital Provincial Infantil de Camagüey

  La realización de este trabajo tuvo como objetivo principal destacar la relevancia económica que puede significar los costos de la actividad quirúrgica del Hospital Provincial Infantil, planteándose la situación problémica de cómo realizar el correcto cálculo de los costos que permitiera obtener la información necesaria que tribute al control de los recursos indispensables para esta actividad, debido a los altos costos de los procedimientos que allí se realizan y la resolutividad de estas actividades en la morbilidad hospitalaria. Para lograr dichos objetivos se utilizaron métodos de inducción y deducción, teóricos y empíricos a partir de: revisión documental, observación, discusión grupal, entrevistas, procesamiento de información. Como resultado de esta investigación se pudo comprobar que el mejor dominio de los costos de estas actividades, permitirá a la dirección del centro asegurar el financiamiento para garantizar con prioridad los recursos necesarios para el funcionamiento de estos servicios, en aras de mejorar la gestión hospitalaria; así como lograr influir en la conciencia social sobre lo valioso del Sistema de Salud cubano, al poder divulgar ejemplos de cuánto cuestan intervenciones, realizadas totalmente gratis a los niños

  The realization of this work had as main objective to highlight the economic relevance that the costs of the surgical activity of the Children's Provincial Hospital can mean, considering the problematic situation of how to carry out the correct calculation of the costs that would allow obtaining the necessary information that contributes to the control of the essential resources for this activity, due to the high costs of the procedures performed there and the resolvability of these activities in hospital morbidity. To achieve these objectives, theoretical and empirical induction and deduction methods were used from: documentary review, observation, group discussion, interviews, information processing. As a result of this investigation, it was possible to verify that the best control of the costs of these activities will allow the management of the center to ensure financing to guarantee, with priority, the necessary resources for the operation of these services, in order to improve hospital management; as well as to influence the social conscience about the value of the Cuban Health System, by being able to disseminate examples of how much interventions cost, carried out totally free of charge for children.
