Sistemática y distribución de Brachistosternus (Leptosternus) weyenberghii Thorell (Scorpiones, Bothriuridae)

  • New data are provided on the distribution and systematics ofBrachistosternus weyenberghii Thorell. Brachistosternus borellii Kraepelin is synonymized with B.weyenberghii. This species occurs in the northern part of the Monte and in the Prepuna phytogeographicprovinces. It belongs to the subgenus Brachistosternus (Leptosternus) Maury, according to the currentclassification of the genus.
