The obsolescence of the tax systems to the new economic reality, marked using new technologies, is an undeniable reality, with a clear consequence: the reduction of the tax bases of the main taxes levied on the activity business. We are at a crucial moment in the framework of international taxation, since tax systems must be adapted to the digital economy, either by establishing new tax concepts, or even by creating specific taxes –a new tax paradigm–. Whether one or the other is the chosen option, or both, international consensus is necessary for the decisions adopted to be efficient. For this reason, the application of corporate compliance to the taxation of the digital economy may be an appropriate option for collaboration between the parties involved
