  El objetivo de este artículo fue determinar la importancia de los servicios multimedia en la labor secretarial, en la institución de estudios superiores de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí. para la aplicación se ha utilizado como base de la investigación, la metodología bibliográfica, de campo y descriptiva, teniendo así una encuesta aplicada a las 100 profesionales que realizan carrera Secretarial que laboran en los distintos departamentos y facultades en la institución ya mencionada; los resultados que se encuentran dentro de esta investigación, han sido la relevancia que ocupan los servicios multimedia en el desempeño de la labor secretarial, las distintas actividades que les permiten realizar y la facilidad que estas herramientas les brindan para dar un mejor servicio a quienes requieren de su asistencia. Las herramientas multimedia toman un papel muy importante dentro de la ejecución de las tareas y actividades y es gratificante el resultado que se logra obtener en proporción a las profesionales de carrera que están a la vanguardia con la utilización de los diferentes equipos tecnológicos y servicios, no obstante, existe un bajo rubro de profesionales que necesitan actualizar conocimientos para agilizar el sistema de recopilación de datos, archivo y manejar aplicaciones tecnológicas que prioricen actividades y emitan resultados en un tiempo más breve del que se vienen llevando a cabo.

  The objective of this article was to determine the importance of multimedia services in the secretarial work, in the institution of higher studies of the Technical University of Manabí. for the application, the bibliographical, field and descriptive methodology has been used as the basis of the research, thus having a survey applied to the 100 professionals who work in the different departments and faculties in the aforementioned institution; the results found in this research have been the relevance of multimedia services in the performance of the secretarial work, the different activities that allow them to perform and the ease that these tools provide to provide a better service to those who require of your assistance. The multimedia tools take a very important role in the execution of tasks and activities and it is gratifying the result that is achieved in proportion to the career professionals who are at the forefront with the use of different technological equipment and services, not However, there is a low category of professionals who need to update their knowledge in order to streamline the data collection system, file and manage technological applications that prioritize activities and issue results in a shorter time than they are being carried out.
