Una mirada de responsabilidad social universitaria desde la investigación con juntas de acción comunal

    El presente artículo tiene como objetivo evidenciar la responsabilidad social de la Institución Universitaria Antonio José Camacho en el marco de la investigación “Fortalecimiento a la Banca Mutual Comunal”. La investigación tiene un enfoque mixto, de tipo Investigación Acción Participativa, con un corte descriptivo, aplicando técnicas como: entrevistas semiestructuradas, grupos focales, cartografía social y encuestas. Como resultado principal está la construcción de herramientas de gestión comunitaria que implican un compromiso social de la institución con la sociedad. Se concluye que no es posible generar procesos investigativos que incorporen Responsabilidad Social Universitaria sin un verdadero compromiso de parte de la academia y su estructura organizacional. Por otro lado, la gestión comunitaria debe ser un ejercicio mancomunado entre la academia y las Juntas de Acción Comunal para aplicar procesos continuos basados en la realidad social y trabajos de investigación.

    This article aims to show evidence about Antonio Jose Camacho University Institution’s social responsibility within the framework of the project “Strengthening of the Community Mutual Banking”. This research study has a mixed approach, it is a Participatory Action type research with a descriptive style, combining techniques like: semi structured interviews, focus groups, social cartography and surveys. The main result is the creation of community management tools that show the social commitment of the institution with society. As a conclusion, it is not possible to develop investigative processes to include university social responsibility without a true academic commitment from the university and its organizational structure. On the other hand, the community management must be a concerted  cooperative process between the academy and the community  action councils to apply constant processes based on social reality and research work.
