    La práctica del deporte tiene numerosas manifestaciones, que han sufrido cambios a lo largo de los años. En el ámbito universitario, con la premisa de garantizar como un derecho constitucional, en 2009, el Gobierno Federal creó el Programa Segundo Medio (PST) Universitario, que tiene como objetivo facilitar al estudiantado el acceso a la práctica del deporte educativo. Así, el presente estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la planificación, formación y evaluación del PST Universitario en la Universidad Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS). Se utilizó una investigación descriptiva con enfoque cualitativo, con recolección de datos a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas realizadas a profesores y académicos. Los datos se analizaron según lo propuesto por Bardin (2009). La planificación y estructuración del PST Universitario fueron realizadas por el coordinador, de acuerdo con los lineamientos del programa, que no prevén la participación de profesores y académicos. De acuerdo con los relatos de los entrevistados, la formación no se llevó a cabo de acuerdo con las directrices, pero las reuniones de planificación demostraron ser significativas para la formación profesional. El principal impacto del programa evaluado fue ofrecer la práctica deportiva como un derecho. De esta forma, se concluye que el PST Universitario contribuye al acceso del estudiantado al deporte educativo, así como a la formación profesional, tal como lo prevén los lineamientos. Sin embargo, es necesaria la participación de los docentes en la construcción de la planificación, considerando que en la implementación existe una disociación entre quienes planifican y ejecutan.

    The practice of sports presents numerous manifestations, which over the years have undergone changes. In the university context, with the premise of ensuring it as a constitutional right, in 2009, the Federal Government created the Segundo Tempo University Program (STUP), which aims to provide the student body with access to the practice of educational sports. Thus, the present study aims to analyze the planning, formation and evaluation at University PST of the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS). Descriptive research with a qualitative approach was used, with data collection through semi-structured interviews carried out with professors and monitors. The data were analyzed according to Bardin's proposal (2009). The planning and structuring of the STUP were carried out by the coordinator, in accordance with the program guidelines, which do not provide for the participation of professors and monitors. According to the interviewees' reports, the training was not carried out according to guidelines, but the planning meetings proved to be significant for professional training. The main impact of the evaluated program was on offering sports practice as a right. Thus, it is concluded that the STUP contributes to the student body's access to educational sports, as well as to professional training, as provided for in the guidelines. However, it is necessary the participation of teachers in the construction of planning, considering that in the implementation there is a dissociation between those who plan and execute.
