    Las manifestaciones vinculadas a la platería y la joyería tuvieron una discreta representación en las exposiciones públicas de la industria española. Su presencia, en muchos casos, se limitó a orfebres de Madrid y Barcelona, aunque en alguna ocasión también participaron maestros de la filigrana de Salamanca. Se analiza el papel desempeñado por estos orfebres y talleres en el ámbito de estos certámenes, así como las opiniones que generaron sus trabajos y los premios que recibieron.

    The manifestations linked to silverware and jewelery had a discreet representation in the the public exhibitions of the Spanish industry. Their presence, in many cases, was limited to goldsmiths from Madrid and Barcelona, although on occasion masters of filigree from Salamanca also participated. The role played by these goldsmiths and workshops in the field of these contests is analyzed, as well as the opinions generated by their work and the prizes with which they were distinguished.
