Resumen de Evolución de la Cuentas Satélite en Latinoamérica: El caso de México

  Comenzamos con una disertación sobre el origen del Sistema de Cuentas Nacionales, reconocido por la ONU, el debate sobre desarrollo económico y la evolución del concepto de bienestar, hasta el buen vivir. Posteriormente, se discute la importancia de las cuentas satélite de la economía social, su referente europeo y las complicaciones para su correlato latinoamericano. Finalmente, se discuten los resultados del estudio de caso de la cuenta satélite para México (2018) y que dan cuenta del peso de la Economía Social en el PIB, según el INEGI, y las observaciones al respecto.Se concluye que el Sistema de Cuentas Nacionales no responde a los requerimientos de evaluación del bienestar, ya que sus parámetros se han modificado, pasando del ingreso, como su indicador único, a nuevas formas de concebirlo, cuyos indicadores se complejizan y se vuelven más holísticos, en la perspectiva de la economía social solidaria y del buen vivir latinoamericano.

  We begin with a dissertation on the origin of the System of National Accounts, recognized by the UN, the debate on economic development and the evolution of the concept of welfare, up to the good living. Subsequently, we discuss the importance of the satellite accounts of the social economy, its European reference and the complications for its Latin American correlate. Finally, the results of the case study of the satellite account for Mexico (2018) and which account for the weight of the Social Economy in the GDP, according to INEGI, and observations in this regard are discussed.It is concluded that the System of National Accounts does not respond to the requirements of welfare evaluation, since its parameters have been modified, moving from income, as its sole indicator, to new ways of conceiving it, whose indicators become more complex and holistic, in the perspective of the social solidarity economy and the Latin American good living.
