Resumen de Comparación Estructural de Tres Diseños en un Edificio de Siete Pisos

  Hoy en día, hablar de seguridad de toda construcción es hacer referencia a edificaciones que ofrezcan la mejor resistencia a eventos como los sismos que ponen en riesgo la integridad de los ciudadanos. El objetivo general de esta investigación comprende analizar y comparar tres diseños en una edificación ubicada en la ciudad de Esmeraldas. El análisis de los referidos diseños se empleó el software ETABS (Análisis Tridimensional Extendido de Edificaciones), los resultados obtenidos respecto a las derivas, desplazamientos, torsión y fuerzas laterales, fueron procesados mediante el programa Excel. El proceso de comparación permitió establecer las diferencias entre los 3 modelos, cabe recalcar que el proyecto asume las normativas dadas por la NEC. Se concluye que el primer diseño es el que genera la mayor demanda en costo y presenta los mayores desplazamientos entre los tres diseños, haciendo que no tenga un buen rendimiento estructural, a diferencia del tercer diseño que es el mejor de los tres presentando un correcto equilibrio entre el costo y beneficio.

  Today, talking about the safety of all construction is referring to buildings that offer the best resistance to events such as earthquakes that put the integrity of citizens at risk. The general objective of this research includes analyzing and comparing three designs in a building located in the city of Esmeraldas. The analysis of the aforementioned designs was used the ETABS software (Extended Three-Dimensional Analysis of Buildings), the results obtained regarding drifts, displacements, torsion and lateral forces, were processed using the Excel program. The comparison process allowed us to establish the differences between the 3 models, it should be noted that the project assumes the regulations given by the NEC. It is concluded that the first design is the one that generates the highest demand in cost and presents the greatest displacements among the three designs, causing it not to have a good structural performance, unlike the third design, which is the best of the three, presenting a correct balance. between cost and benefit.
