Resumen de El inicio de la masonería en Chaparra en la segunda década del siglo XX, cultura e identidad local

  La masonería es una fraternidad antiquísima. La presente investigación tiene específicamente como objeto de estudio el inicio de la masonería en Chaparra a principios del siglo XX, su objetivo es la descripción de la masonería en Chaparra a principios del siglo XX. La metodología utilizada durante la investigación se fundamentó sobre los paradigmas cualitativos y cuantitativos, tomando como base la dialéctica materialista expresada en los métodos teóricos: inducción-deducción, histórico-lógico, hermenéutico y el análisis y crítica de fuentes. Los resultados obtenidos de esta investigación permiten destacar cómo a pesar de no constituir un gran número de masones establecidos en el pueblo, se formó la institución y se logra la construcción de la casas templo que está próxima a cumplir sus cien años de edificada. Las ideas reflejadas en el trabajo demuestran que la historia de la masonería forma parte de la identidad local y es un tema que necesita mayor profundización en la historiografía cubana.

  Freemasonry is an ancient fraternity. The present investigation has specifically as object of study the beginning of the freemasonry in Chaparra at the beginning of the XX century; its objective is the description of Freemasonry in Chaparra at the beginning of the XX century. The methodology used during the investigation was based on the qualitative and quantitative paradigms, based on the materialist dialectic expressed in the theoretical methods: induction-deduction, historical-logical, hermeneutic and the analysis and criticism of sources. The results obtained from this investigation allow us to highlight how, despite not constituting a large number of freemasons established in the town, the institution was formed and the construction of the temple houses that is close to completing its one hundred years of construction. The ideas reflected in the work show that the history of Freemasonry is part of the local identity and is a topic that needs further deepening in Cuban historiography.
