Leticia Crespillo Marí, Javier González Torres, Sonia Ríos Moyano

  • The employment of people with intellectual disabilities has become one of the main challenges of our society. In an increasingly hyper-technical and digitized world, it is necessary to optimize and improve the training provided to them so that they can fully develop at a professional level. Foundations, associations, educational centers, and universities seek to improve the technical, cognitive, communicative, and socio-emotional skills of their neuroatypical student body; hence the design of ad hoc educational programs in which the new information and communication technologies, as well as those related to the computational field, are used to promote personal autonomy. This text reflects on the TAEC initiative of the University of Malaga – Título Propio de Auxiliar en Entornos Culturales −, exposing results derived from some of the activities carried out between the academic years 2019/2020 and 2021/2022. This particular training is structured with the aim of being able to devise strategies for cultural dissemination based on 3D tools and/or mixed realities, becomes the main axis of the module entitled Tools and technological resources in cultural environments. We offer below different results obtained after the teaching-learning process carried out in various theoretical-practical sessions.
