The aim of this study is to propose a model of lexicographic treatment of verbo-nominal collocations applicable to the teaching of Spanish-French translation and aimed at students in their first stages of training. The methodology used in this study is qualitative and descriptive. The main instrument is the contrastive analysis of a textual corpus composed of French translations of Spanish newspaper articles. As a descriptive analysis tool, we used the principle of predicativity (Gross, 2012). Thanks to this study perspective, we were able to propose a contrastive model that not only reflects regular properties, but also exceptional situations, so that we can obtain a sufficiently generalised interpretation of the main uses in each language and serve as a reference for the creation of materials whose main objective is the interlinguistic contrast of verbo-nominal collocations in the translation classroom.
