En esta ocasión, separándonos de la perspectiva científico social, Entretextos ofrece un conjunto de artículos que aportan al acto de desentrañar las funciones sociales del arte. Partimos del amorío entre sociedad y arte (como en todo amorío también hay desavenencias), bajo la premisa de que el artista es un visionario, un mensajero, un soñador, un traductor del inconsciente colectivo. Esperamos que a través de esta diversidad de colores en la paleta podamos delinear un bosquejo que rinda tributo al inútil pero imprescindible ejercicio artístico, un ejercicio que nos vuelve plenamente humanos.

On this occasion, separating ourselves from the social scientific perspective, Entretextos offers a set of articles that contribute to the act of unraveling the social functions of art. We start from the love affair between society and art (as in every love affair there are also disagreements), under the premise that the artist is a visionary, a messenger, a dreamer, a translator of the collective unconscious. We hope that through this diversity of colors in the palette we can outline a sketch that pays tribute to the useless but essential artistic exercise, an exercise that makes us fully human.
