    Desde el Instituto Mexicano para el Desarrollo Comunitario (IMDEC), como integrantes del Movimiento Mexicano de Afectadxs por las Presas y en Defensa de los Ríos (MAPDER), y una de las organizaciones que acompaña el proceso de defensa de la comunidad de Temacapulín ante la presa El Zapotillo en Jalisco, consideramos relevante elaborar este artículo en el que con insumos ofrecidos por el Comité Salvemos Temacapulín, Acasico y Palmarejo, el Colectivo de Abogad@s y el Consejo Regional para el Desarrollo Sustentable (CONREDES, A.C.), realizamos una breve sistematización del conflicto que encabeza la comunidad de Temacapulín en contra de la presa El Zapotillo.

    As the Mexican Institute for Community Development (IMDEC) , member of the Mexican Movement of Those Affected by Dams and in Defence of Rivers (MAPDER), and one of the organizations that support the defense process of the Temacapulín community against El Zapotillo in Jalisco, we consider relevant to establish this article with the information provided by the Committee to Save Temacapulín, Acasico and Palmarejo, the Lawyer’s Collective and the Regional Council for Sustainable Development (CONREDES, AC), where we carried out a brief systematization of the struggle of the Temacapulín community against El Zapotillo.
