    Desde la mitad del siglo XX, la filosofía se preocupa más por la relación de humano a humano, en el contexto del autoritarismo. La palabra alteridad florece para definir este nuevo concepto de relación binaria entre individuos sin identidad y procedentes de cultura y medios diferentes. La evolución de la humanidad en estos cien últimos años, a partir de septiembre de 1914, muestra una escalada de violencia sin fin. El clan y la familia han prácticamente desaparecido de la faz de la tierra y los gobiernos están luchando para acabar con lo que queda de ellos: los indígenas y los pobres. Los desplazamientos de los individuos para sobrevivir, sirven para terminar la tarea.

    A pesar de no ser religioso, el personaje de Jesús, como modelo en la empatía y la misericordia, se impone a mí como el ejemplo a seguir en nuestra relación con el prójimo. El mensaje pretende separar lo sutil de lo grosero, para encontrar una vía de supervivencia. Lo grosero es lo material y la imposición, lo sutil es el amor y la misericordia. Por lo que, al final, mi fe es esperar en el amor.

    Since the mid-twentieth century, philosophy has been more concerned with the human-to-human relationship in the context of authoritarianism. The word otherness flourishes to define this new concept of binary relationship between individuals without identity and coming from different cultures and environments. The evolution of humanity in the last hundred years, since September 1914, shows an endless escalation of violence. The clan and the family have practically disappeared from the face of the earth and governments are struggling to wipe out what is left of them: the indigenous and the poor. The displacement of individuals to survive serves to finish the job.

    Despite not being religious, the character of Jesus, as a model in empathy and mercy, imposes itself on me as the example to follow in our relationship with our fellow man. The message aims to separate the subtle from the coarse, to find a way of survival. The coarse is material and imposition, the subtle is love and mercy. So, in the end, my faith is to hope in love.
