Resumen de La política exterior fascista desde el 1932 al 1936: De la equidistancia al eje

El artículo tiene como objetivo ilustrar la evolución de la política exterior fascista y su acercamiento progresivo al Tercer Reich en el periodo entre 1932 y 1936. En particular, la investigación histórica se concentra en la equidistancia diplomática puesta en práctica por Mussolini entre Gran Bretaña y Francia por una parte y la Alemania nazi por otra, a partir de la línea estratégica del “peso decisivo”, proyectada durante la dirección del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de Dino Grandi. Gracias a la referencia de fuentes diplomáticas oficiales y a la más relevante historiografía al respecto, se ha realizado una reconstrucción y una reflexión crítica de los eventos que llevaron a Italia a la “amistad incondicional” con la Alemania de Adolfo Hitler.

The essay shows the development of the Fascist foreign policy and its progressive approach to the Third Reich between 1932 and 1936. In particular, the historical investigation is focused on the diplomatic equidistance created by Mussolini from Great Britain and France on one side and Nazi Germany on the other one, starting from the strategic line of the “decisive weight”, carried out during the administration of the Italian Foreign Office of Dino Grandi. Thanks to the reference of official diplomatic sources and the most relevant historiography of this theme, it is realized an incisive reconstruction and an incisive reflection of the events that brought Italy to the “unconditional friendship” with Adolf Hitler’s Germany.
