Resumen de Proyecto de restauración de la fachada principal de la Catedral de Murcia

  Presentamos la propuesta de intervención sobre la fachada principal de la Catedral de Murcia, incluyendouna breve memoria textual, así como imágenes y planos con la descripción y justifcación del proyecto para surestauración. Dado que a la frma del presente artículo -agosto de 2023- aún no se han iniciado las obras, nose pueden aportar resultados de los análisis y pruebas realizados in situ sobre el andamio y únicamente disponemos de los trabajos y estudios previos realizados durante la fase de redacción del proyecto (escaneado láser,fotogrametría, recogida de muestras y análisis de laboratorio para los ensayos de caracterización pétrea y demorteros). Estas pruebas permitieron identifcar diferentes tipologías pétreas, sus posibles canteras históricas,además de ensayar su comportamiento y compatibilidad con los diferentes métodos de limpieza y/o consolidación, para asegurar su idoneidad y que no perjudiquen de ninguna forma al monumento.Por el contrario,sí podemos incluir la planimetría completa y, sobre ella, identifcar las principales patologías y las primeraspropuestas que sirvieron de base a la licitación de las obras, que fueron adjudicadas a la empresa Orthem delgrupo Hozono Global, con la mejor puntuación fnal entre las ocho ofertas presentadas.

  We present the proposed intervention on the main façade of the Cathedral of Murcia, including a brief textualreport, as well as images and plans with the description and justifcation of the project for its restoration. Since atthe signing of this article -August 2023- the works have not yet started, we cannot provide results of the analysesand tests carried out in situ on the scafolding and we only have available the previous works and studies carried outduring the drafing phase of the project (laser scanning, photogrammetry, sample collection and laboratory analysisfor the stone and mortar characterization tests). Tese tests made it possible to identify diferent stone typologies,their possible historical quarries, in addition to testing their behavior and compatibility with the diferent cleaningand/or consolidation methods, to ensure their suitability and that they do not damage the monument in any way.On the other hand, we can include the complete planimetry and, on it, identify the main pathologies and the frstproposals that served as a basis for the bidding of the works, which were awarded to the company Orthem of theHozono Global group, with the best fnal score among the eight bids submitted.
