The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of green technology on Iraq's economic development and to emphasise the vital role that agriculture and FDI play in the country's efforts to move towards a green economy and boost growth rates. Value added in agriculture (percent annual increase) was shown to be positively correlated with economic expansion in Iraq. The importance of agriculture in attaining economic growth is bolstered when value added grows in the agricultural sector and feeds into GDP expansion. Furthermore, it provided conclusive evidence that FDI contributes to economic growth in Iraq. High levels of foreign investment reduce GDP, thus it's important to think about the laws and processes that will encourage investments that will be good for the economy in the long run. The findings show a favourable correlation between green technology adoption, agricultural output, and economic development in Iraq. Sustainable growth and economic improvement are both possible if Iraq's agriculture industry adopts green technologies. The report concludes that investment in green technologies and the sustainable growth of Iraq's agriculture industry should be encouraged. To help the agriculture industry and encourage long-term investments in green technologies, the government and interested parties should prioritise enacting the required legislation and laws. The process comes with its own set of environmental and economic issues, the identification of which is essential. Therefore, green economic transformation will help Iraq achieve sustainable development and long-term economic prosperity.
