  Bajo el título De la A a la Z: explorando la Biblioteca Nacional de España en buscade un diccionario visual aragonés, hemos querido rendir un modesto homenaje aMaría Moliner, aragonesa y bibliotecaria excepcional que trabajó a favor de un sis-tema bibliotecario público, sólido y de calidad. Este texto presenta, por un lado,algunas piezas fotográficas relacionadas con el territorio aragonés que custodiael Servicio de Dibujos y Grabados de la Biblioteca Nacional de España y, por otro,las herramientas que facilitan el acceso a esas fotografías, ya sea a distancia opresencialmente, con el fin de que sean ustedes mismos, estimados lectores, losencargados de navegar por los servicios que facilita la BNE para este fin.Es notable la presencia de Aragón en los fondos fotográficos, donde quedanregistradas, entre otras materias, las grandes obras públicas emprendidas du-rante segunda mitad del siglo xix (puentes, trazados de ferrocarril…), así comoretratos de personajes célebres aragoneses o afincados en esta tierra, aconte-cimientos históricos y vistas de ciudades y paisajes.

  Under the title From A to Z: exploring the National Library of Spain in searchof an Aragonese visual dictionary, we wanted to pay a modest tribute to MaríaMoliner, an Aragonese and exceptional librarian who worked for a strong, qualitypublic library system. This text presents, on the one hand, some photographicpieces related to the Aragonese territory guarded by the Drawings and Engra-vings Service of the National Library of Spain and, on the other hand, the toolsthat facilitate access to these photographs, either remotely or in person, in orderfor you, dear readers, to be in charge of navigating the services provided by theBNE for this purpose.The presence of Aragon in the photographic collections is notable. The re are re-corded, among other matters, the great public works undertaken during thesecond half of the 19 th century (bridges, railway lines…), as well as portraits ofimportant figures from Aragon or settled in this land, historical events and viewsof cities and landscapes.
