  La escolástica española es, sin lugar a duda, una de las tradicio­nes más ricas y profundas dentro del judeocristianismo, y su legado en Occi­dente se puede percibir en distintas áreas del saber (derecho, economía, cien­cia, filosofía, etc.). Sin embargo, dicha tradición ha sido injustamente ignorada o malinterpretada a través de la historia. Es por eso que, en este artículo, nos proponemos hacer un recorrido, grosso modo, por la Segunda Escolástica, resaltando, principalmente, su legado y profundidad en la historia del pensa­miento.

  The Spanish Scholasticism is one of the richest and deepest tradi­tions in Judeo-Christianity, and its legacy in the West can be seen in different areas of knowledge (Law, Economics, Science, Philosophy). But this tradition has been unfairly ignored or misinterpreted throughout history. That is why in this article we propose to study the Second Scholasticism highlighting, main­ly, its legacy and depth in the history of thought.
