    ¿Hasta qué punto está vigente la condena iluminista a la religión? ¿Es cierto que la religión (o las religiones) son un freno para el progreso científico o es justamente lo contrario: que la religión ha impulsado la investigación científica, como lo prueba el hecho de que las universidades nacieron del amparo de la Iglesia? ¿Ciencia y fe son dos formas radicalmente distintas de aproximación a la realidad? ¿Es cierto que el ateo es más científico o racional que el creyente? Estos, y otros interrogantes similares, son los que destacados científicos y filósofos abordan en sus colaboraciones para este número de Fe y Libertad.

    To what extent is the Enlightenment condemnation of religion valid? Is it true that religion (or religions) are a brake on scientific progress or is it just the opposite: that religion has promoted scientific research, as evidenced by the fact that universities were born under the auspices of the Church? Are science and faith two radically different ways of approaching reality? Is it true that the atheist is more scientific or rational than the believer? These, and other similar questions, are the ones that leading scientists and philosophers address in their contributions to this issue of Fe y Libertad.
