    En esta conferencia, el Premio Nobel de Economía relata las experiencias que lo llevaron a convertirse al cristianismo y hace ver cómo, desde su punto de vista, el trabajo de los científi cos (en lo particular, los cosmólogos que investigan los orígenes del universo) presuponen la fe en sus teorías. «Los constructos conceptuales y teóricos de la ciencia constituyen las “sustancias de las cosas que esperamos” y la evidencia observacional depende de instrumentos que registran “la evidencia de cosas no vistas”». Por otra parte, nos dice que la ciencia debe preservar el sentido del misterio, presente en todas las cosas.

    In this conference, the Nobel Prize in Economics recounts the experiences that led him to convert to Christianity and shows how, from his point of view, the work of scientists (in particular, cosmologists who investigate the origins of the universe) they presuppose faith in their theories. "The conceptual and theoretical constructs of science constitute the 'substances of things expected', and observational evidence depends on instruments that record 'the evidence of things not seen'." On the other hand, it tells us that science must preserve the sense of mystery, present in all things.
