Resumen de Capitalismo y Magisterio: La Persistente Objeción Moral

  Este trabajo se propone someter a prueba la objeción moral, es decir, aquella que no sólo juzga críticamente el capitalismo en tal o cual concreción histórica, sino que lo juzga desfavorablemente o incluso lo condena como “sistema”, es decir, en sí mismo. Partimos para ello de la historia de la DSI. En ella encontraremos dos tendencias, diversas en cuanto al peso que asignan a la objeción moral: una primera, de carácter asimétrico, que si bien critica fuertemente al capitalismo lo acepta condicionadamente como mal menor o incluso le reconoce valores positivos, mientras condena de modo taxativo al comunismo; y otra, de carácter simétrico, que se acerca a la lisa y llana condenación del capitalismo, en pie de igualdad con el comunismo.

  This paper aims to test the moral objection, that is, the one that not only critically judges capitalism in this or that historical concreteness, but also judges it unfavorably or even condemns it as a "system", that is, in itself. We start for this from the history of the DSI. In it we will find two tendencies, different in terms of the weight they assign to the moral objection: the first, of an asymmetric nature, that although it strongly criticizes capitalism, conditionally accepts it as a lesser evil or even recognizes positive values, while exhaustively condemning to communism; and another, of a symmetrical nature, which approaches the plain and simple condemnation of capitalism, on an equal footing with communism.
