    Se estudia el uso del conocimiento en la sociedad bajo dos modelos sociales antagónicos: el liberalismo y el totalitarismo. Se sostiene conceptualmente la variable del conocimiento en ambos sistemas, para observar sus mutaciones bajo sus respectivas condiciones sociales, provocando así dos imágenes del conocimiento: uno producto del ejercicio de los límites sociales propios de un individualismo de corte evolutivo y otro resultante del colapso de estos mismos límites. Por tanto, se analiza las características del cambio desde el conocimiento hacia un auténtico delirio. El artículo busca ofrecer una exposición de aspectos sutiles, no tratados frecuentemente, que facilitan el engaño sistemático y la implantación de sistemas totalitaristas. En el epílogo se plantean de manera explícita los aspectos éticos implícitos en la elección entre el conocimiento y el delirio, y sus respectivos sistemas sociales.

    The use of knowledge in society is studied under two antagonistic social models: liberalism and totalitarianism. The knowledge variable is conceptually sustained in both systems, to observe its mutations under their respective social conditions, thus provoking two images of knowledge: one product of the exercise of the social limits of an evolutionary individualism and another resulting from the collapse of these same limits. Therefore, the characteristics of the change from knowledge to an authentic delusion are analyzed. The article seeks to offer an exposition of subtle aspects, not frequently treated, that facilitate systematic deception and the implantation of totalitarian systems. In the epilogue, the ethical aspects implicit in the choice between knowledge and delirium, and their respective social systems, are explicitly stated.
