    La investigación buscó conocer la relación existente entre las variables gestión del talento humano y desempeño laboral del personal administrativo en las instituciones educativas, para el que se estableció el tipo de investigación descriptiva en el que se aplicó como instrumento cuestionarios que miden las variables investigadas y se recabó la información de una muestra constituida por 30 trabajadores, asimismo, la investigación se concretó desde el diseño correlacional. Para el procesamiento de los datos se recurrió al uso del estadígrafo Tau b de Kendall, en el que se concluye que la gestión del talento humano se relaciona de manera directa y significativa con el desempeño laboral del personal administrativo en las instituciones educativas de la UGEL Huamanga (Tb=0,763; p= 0,00<0,05) Palabra clave: gestión del talento humano, desempeño laboral, selección, capacitación.

    The research sought to know the relationship between the variables human talent management and job performance of administrative staff in educational institutions, for which the type of descriptive research was established in which questionnaires were applied as an instrument that measure the variables investigated and collected information from a sample consisting of 30 workers, likewise, the investigation was carried out from the correlational design. For the processing of the data, the use of the Kendall Tau b statistician was used, in which it is concluded that the management of human talent is directly and significantly related to the work performance of the administrative staff in the educational institutions of the UGEL Huamanga. (Tb=0.763; p= 0.00<0.05).
