    This article subject is the taxation and the 2030 Agenda. It aims at to verifying how taxation can contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. For that, the hermeneutic phenomenological method will be adopted. For this purpose, firstly, it will analyze what these goals consist of and what is their importance; then, the taxation ability to perform in the search for goals beyond the mere collection and, finally, it will be made the connection between them both, through suggestions for the performance of taxation in the implementation of the agenda. It is concluded, then, that taxation will be an essential instrument in the search for such goals, serving as funding as much as a direct instrument in this challenge.

    O presente artigo tem como tema a tributação e a Agenda 2030. Buscar-se-á verificar de que forma a tributação poderá contribuir para a concretização dos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável. Para tanto, adotar-se-á o método hermenêutico fenomenológico. Assim, primeiramente, analisar-se-á no que consiste tais objetivos e qual a sua importância; em seguida, a capacidade de atuação da tributação na busca de fins além da mera arrecadação e por fim, será feita a conexão entre ambos, através de sugestões para a atuação da tributação na concretização da agenda. Conclui-se, então, que a tributação será um instrumento essencial na busca por tais objetivos, servindo como financiamento, tanto quanto como instrumento direto neste desafio.
