Resumen de A Educação Financeira no Antropoceno

The realization that the impacts of human activity would be affecting the functioning of the planet, sparked a debate in the academic environment around a new geological era that would have already begun: the Anthropocene. Result of a bibliographic study, from the perspective of Critical Mathematical Education, this article, from the perspective of Critical Mathematical Education,aims to present the concept of Anthropocene, and thus,reflectson its challenges and implications, investigating its possible contributions to the constitution of a Financial Education thought by educators and connected with Mathematics Education. The reading of the participation of mathematics in human endeavors is done through the five dimensions of mathematics in action and the ideology of certainty. It also addresses the related concepts of Safe Planetary Limits, Great Accelerationand Capitalocene, in order to reveal the intentions underlying the disseminated discourses onthe concept of Anthropocene. Finally, it is considered that the Anthropocene is a strong interdisciplinary component capable of provoking reflections in the school context and bringing contributions to redirect Financial Education.

A constatação de que os impactos da atividade humana estariam afetando o funcionamento do planeta deflagrou no meio acadêmico um debate em torno de uma nova Época geológica que já teria começado: o Antropoceno. Resultado de um estudo bibliográfico, este artigo, sob a perspectiva da Educação Matemática Crítica, tem o intuito de apresentar o conceito de Antropoceno e, assim, refletir sobre seus desafios e implicações, investigando suas possíveis contribuições para a constituição de uma Educação Financeira pensada por educadores e conectada com a Educação Matemática. A leitura da participação da Matemática nos empreendimentos humanos é feita através das cinco dimensões da Matemática em ação e da Ideologia da Certeza. Abordam-se também os conceitos correlatos de Limites Planetários Seguros, de Grande Aceleração e de Capitaloceno, de modo a revelar as intenções subjacentes aos discursos disseminados sobre o conceito de Antropoceno. Considera-se, finalmente, que o Antropoceno é um forte componente interdisciplinar capaz de suscitar reflexões no contexto escolar e trazer contribuições para se reorientar a Educação Financeira.
