El presente trabajo aborda la importancia y el potencial del Atlas Lingüístico Vasco en el estudio de la variación dialectal del euskera. Se destaca que el atlas proporciona una gran cantidad de datos lingüísticos detallados que pueden ser utilizados para investigaciones dialectométricas y consultas específicas. A través de ejemplos tomados de diferentes mapas del atlas, se muestran y se señalan diversas divisiones y características dialectales en las distintas regiones. Se mencionan ejemplos de variaciones léxicas y fonéticas, préstamos lingüísticos y formas endémicas. En el trabajo se quiere subrayar que el atlas ofrece un amplio conjunto de datos que pueden ser explorados de manera más amplia y utilizados en investigaciones futuras. Se destaca la necesidad de una explotación organizada de los datos del atlas y se invita a los investigadores a aprovechar este recurso valioso en el estudio de la variación dialectal del euskera.

This paper discusses the importance and potential of the Basque Linguistic Atlas in the study of Basque dialectal variation. It is emphasized that the atlas provides a large amount of detailed linguistic data that can be used for dialectometric research and specific queries. Through examples taken from different maps in the atlas, various dialectal divisions and characteristics in the different regions are shown and pointed out. Examples of lexical and phonetic variations, linguistic borrowings and endemic forms are mentioned. The paper wishes to emphasize that the atlas offers a large body of data that can be further explored and used in future research. It highlights the need for an organized exploitation of the atlas data andinvites researchers to take advantage of this valuable resource in the study of Basque dialectal variation
