Resumen de O rock e as artesanias urbanas: a central de artesanato de Teresina-PI e os festivais de rock nas décadas de 1980 e 1990

  The text discusses the relationship between the Mestre Dezinho Handicraft Center and rock festivals, held in the city of Teresina, capital of Piauí, Brazil, in the period between the 1980s and 1990s. Configured as one of the main cultural spaces in the city, in the time frame of the research. It is based on imagery, hemerographic sources and written memorialistic records, such as poems and reports on the history of rock music in the city. It follows the theoretical reflections of Sandra Pesavento (2007), to discuss the issues of the city; Lucilia Delgado (2006), Jacques Le Goff (2003), Ricœur (2007), to discuss issues of history and memory; and Roger Chartier (2002), to discuss representation issues. The work pointed out the rock festivals, held throughout the city, especially the event that took place at the Craft Center, as a practice that highlights the interaction between people and spaces and that promotes the emergence of the urban ethos, configuring the city not only for its material constructions, but mainly due to the way of life of the human beings that inhabit it.

  O texto discute as relações da Central de Artesanato Mestre Dezinho com os festivais de rock, realizados na cidade de Teresina, capital do Piauí, nas décadas de 1980 e 1990. Aponta as múltiplas modalidades artísticas, desenvolvidas nesse ambiente, que o configuraram como um dos principais espaços culturais da urbe, no recorte temporal da pesquisa. Fundamenta-se em fontes imagéticas, hemerográficas e registros memorialísticos escritos, tais como poemas e relatos sobre a história do rock na cidade. Segue as reflexões teóricas de Sandra Pesavento (2007), para discutir as questões de cidade; Lucilia Delgado (2006), Jacques Le Goff (2003), Ricœur (2007), para discutir as questões de história e memória; e Roger Chartier (2002), para discutir as questões de representação. O trabalho apontou os festivais de rock, realizados por toda a cidade, principalmente o evento ocorrido na Central de Artesanato, como uma prática que evidencia a interação entre gentes e espaços e que promove a emergência do ethos urbano, configurando a cidade não apenas por suas construções materiais, mas, principalmente, pelo modo de viver dos seres humanos que nela habitam.
