Resumen de Propiedades Psicométricas del Cuestionario de Estilos de Vida de Jóvenes Universitarios (CEVJU- Perú)

  El presente estudio tiene como objetivo analizar las propiedades psicométricas del CEVJU-Perú, el cual contiene los 30 mejores ítems del Cuestionario de Estilos de Vida de Jóvenes Universitarios (CEVJU) de Arrivillaga et al. (2003) Participaron 1 265 estudiantes de 18 a 30 años pertenecientes a seis universidades peruanas. Respecto a la validez, se realizaron análisis CFA y ESEM. Se encontraron que los índices del ESEM mostraban mejores índices de ajuste, con lo cual se corrobora la estructura de seis áreas. Se encontraron correlaciones estadísticamente significativas entre algunas áreas de la prueba, lo cual apoya la estructura multidimensional propuesta teóricamente. Por último, respecto a la confiabilidad, se encontraron coeficientes alfa y omega por encima del .60 para las seis áreas de la prueba. El CEVJU-Perú en su versión de 30 ítems es un instrumento válido y confiable para su uso en estudiantes universitarios peruanos

  This study aims at analyzing the psychometric properties of the CEVJU-Peru, which is based on the best 30 items of the Lifestyles of Young University Students Questionnaire (CEVJU, by its Spanish abbreviation) by Arrivillaga et al. (2003). This study counted with the participation of 1 265 students aged 18 to 30 years old from six Peruvian universities. Regarding validity, CFA and ESEM analyses were performed. It was found that ESEM's rates showed better adjustment rates, corroborating the six-area structure. Statistically significant correlations were found between some areas of the test, which supports the multidimensional structure. Finally, regarding reliability, alpha and omega coefficients over .60 were found for the six areas of the test. The 30- item version of the CEVJU-Peru is a valid and reliable instrument for use with Peruvian university students.
