  • Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) is an effective meta-heuristic forthe solution of a wide variety of problems. Its computation is intrinsically massively parallel, and it is therefore theoretically well-suited for implementation on Graphics Processing Units (GPUs). In this paper, we propose a parallelization strategy to solve the VRP with ACO on the GPU.
