Resumen de Configuración y análisis biomecánico de los ataches en la ortodoncia invisible: una revisión narrativa

  Los ataches de composite constituyen el elemento auxiliar más popular asociado a los tratamientos con alineadores transparentes. Sin embargo, aún se desconocen muchas aplicaciones biomecánicas de los ataches y las innovaciones en la tecnología de ortodoncia invisible requieren una actualización constante en el marco teórico y en los paradigmas establecidos. El objetivo de esta revisión narrativa fue recopilar, traducir y analizar todos los artículos relacionados con la configuración y biomecánica de los ataches de composite en el tratamiento con alineadores transparentes para poder profundizar en la definición y componentes de un atache, cómo afecta el tamaño y la localización de estos, qué tipos de funciones cubren y qué diseños son los más adecuados y comparar los ataches optimizados de Invisalign con las opciones convencionales.

  Composite attachments are the most popular auxiliary element associated with clear aligner treatments. However, many biomechanical applications of attachments are still unknown and innovations in invisible orthodontic technology require constant updating in the theoretical framework and established paradigms. The objective of this narrative review was to collect, translate and analyze all the articles related to the configuration and biomechanics of composite attachments in the treatment with transparent aligners in order to deep into the definition and components of an attachment, how affects the size and location of attachments, what types of functions they cover, what designs are the most appropriate and analyze the Invisalign’s optimized attachments with the conventional options.
