El segundo trimestre de 2023 ha dibujado un panorama de mercado laboral considerablemente positivo. Ello se refleja, principalmente, en el hecho de que, por primera vez en la historia, se haya roto la barrera de los 21 millones de ocupados, así como que la tasa de paro haya caído a niveles de hace quince años. Igualmente, se registra una evolución muy positiva en actividad, temporalidad, rotación, hogares con todos sus activos ocupados u hogares sin ingresos.

The second quarter of 2023 shows a significantly positive picture of the labour market. This is mainly reflected in the fact that, for the first time in history, the barrier of 21 million employed has been broken, and the unemployment rate has fallen to levels not seen in the last fifteen years. Likewise, there was a very positive evolution in active population, temporariness, households with all their members employed and the incidence of households with no income. The achievement of record employment levels combined with drastic reductions in precariousness in a highly complex economic context (tightening of monetary policy, geopolitical tensions, inflation stickiness, etc.) is a success for the labor market itself and for the deep legal reform carried out in 2021.
