    El trabajo tiene como objetivo el estudio de la producción teórico literaria de Fernando Lázaro Carreter, para lo cual se procede, primeramente, a delimitar su obra en ese sentido de entre el enorme caudal de sus publicaciones. La misma obra aconseja partir de la dialéctica poética explícita / poética implícita, diferenciación entre teoría y crítica que tan buenos resultados ha dado, sin desconsiderar, por supuesto, la complementariedad de las distintas disciplinas literarias. Dicho acotamiento permite, en primer lugar, la descripción de los trabajos más significativos y el análisis de la incursión del autor en las distintas grandes corrientes de pensamiento estético y literario por las que transcurre su obra, posibilitando la ponderación del alcance y singularidad de sus propuestas. Por otra parte, se procede, además, a la consideración de los conceptos e ideas que constituyen su objeto de atención preferente.

    The objective of the work is to study the theoretical literary production of Fernando Lázaro Carreter, for which we proceed, first, to delimit his work in that sense from the enormous volume of his publications. The same work advises starting from the explicit poetic / implicit poetic dialectic, the differentiation between theory and criticism that has given such good results, without, of course, disregarding the complementarity of the different literary disciplines. Said delimitation allows, in the first place, the description of the most significant works and the analysis of the author’s foray into the different great currents of aesthetic and literary thought through which his work passes, making it possible to weigh the scope and uniqueness of his proposals. On the other hand, it also proceeds to the consideration of the concepts and ideas that constitute its object of preferential attention.
