El cerebro metafórico

    La estructura compleja del cerebro con sus millones de neuronas y sus infinitas conexiones tiende a compararse con una central telefónica, con una máquina cibernética, con un sistema organizacional holográfico o con un complejo ordenador biológico; pero la organización mental abarca mucho más que estas descripciones y quizá lo que más se acerca a su definición es su calificativo como cerebro metafórico .Decir cerebro metafórico es hacer referencia a la utilización de las metáforas desde las múltiples posibilidades de asombro, intuición y creatividad que desde el lenguaje cotidiano, artístico y científico, muestran poderes de seducción y respuestas que interpretan la realidad e invitan a la vida y al placer de vivirla. En una rápida mirada de los órganos de los sentidos se aprecia la forma de interrelación fisiológica con el cerebro y se confirma que la interpretación dela realidad interior como de la exterior mediante las metáforas, supone unas zonas cerebrales o una totalidad organizada para tal efecto. Pero tanto en las investigaciones que se muestran como en los entramados artísticos y en la vida cotidiana, persiste la duda sobre la lógica y el mecanismo que nos lleva al procesamiento metafórico que se da en el cerebro

    The brain's complex structure with millions of neurons and its infinite connections tends to be analogous to a telephone switch boards, or a cybernetic machine, with an organizational holographic system or a complex biological computer; but themental organization has much more than these descriptions and perhaps what can come closest to aproper qualifier is the metaphoric brain. Calling it the metaphoric brain is making a reference to metaphors from multiples possibilities of amazement, intuition and creativity that from every day, artistic and scientific lexicon shows seduction powers and answers that interpret reality and invite ones to life and the pleasure of living it. In a quick look at the senses and their controlling organs one appreciates the way they physiologically interrelate with the brain and one confirms that the interpretation of theinterior as well as the la exterior through metaphors, supposes some cerebral zones or one totality organized for such an effect. But both in investigations that show how in the artistic networks and inevery day life the doubt persists about the logic and the mechanism that leads us to the metaphoric processing that the brain makes
