    La investigación es una revisión bibliográfica sistemática de enfoque cualitativo sobre las publicaciones realizadas en base de datos Scielo, Redalyc y Scopus bajo las palabras clave “TIC en la educación superior” durante el periodo de evaluación 2018 al 2022; adicionalmente se describe el proceso de implementación TIC en la Universidad de Guayaquil bajo la modalidad híbrida y virtual; la variable dependiente corresponde a las  TIC en la educación superior y como variable independiente la implementación en la Universidad de Guayaquil. El análisis del contenido se realizó mediante la gestión documental con el apoyo del software Mendeley; los datos cuantitativos se obtuvieron del Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos de Ecuador comprobando la realidad de las familias de los estudiantes universitarios del país. El presente estudio responde a la pregunta de investigación: ¿Cuál es el impacto de las TIC en la educación superior y su implementación en la Universidad de Guayaquil?

    The research is a systematic bibliographic review of qualitative approach on the publications made in Scielo, Redalyc and Scopus databases under the keywords "ICT in higher education" during the evaluation period 2018 to 2022; additionally, the ICT implementation process at the University of Guayaquil under the hybrid and virtual modality is described; the dependent variable corresponds to ICT in higher education and as an independent variable the implementation at the University of Guayaquil. Content analysis was performed through document management with the support of Mendeley software; quantitative data were obtained from the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses of Ecuador checking the reality of the families of university students in the country. The present study answers the research question: What is the impact of ICT in higher education and its implementation at the Universidad de Guayaquil?
