    El trabajo social es esencial en la lucha contra la violencia intrafamiliar, ya que su enfoque en el bienestar humano y la justicia social permite abordar las causas subyacentes de este tipo de violencia. Los trabajadores sociales pueden identificar y atender a las víctimas, proporcionar orientación y apoyo, y promover la prevención y la resolución pacífica de conflictos en los hogares, lo que contribuye a una sociedad más justa y pacífica. El objetivo de la presente investigación es verificar la correlación que existe entre las dos variables, con el fin de formular estrategias que disminuyan los casos de violencia intrafamiliar en la población de estudio, a través de una gestión eficiente por parte del trabajador social. La metodología que se aplicó fue cuantitativa de alcance correlacional. La población correspondió a las 25 familias que forman parte del programa. Entre las principales conclusiones se tiene que, en el contexto de estudio, existe una relación inversa entre los enfoques de las variables de la investigación, es decir mientras existan acciones eficientes por parte del trabajador social, en materia de violencia intrafamiliar, los casos tienden a disminuir, aumentando el bienestar de las familias.

    Social work is essential in the fight against intrafamily violence, since its focus on human well-being and social justice allows addressing the underlying causes of this type of violence. Social workers can identify and care for victims, provide guidance and support, and promote the prevention and peaceful resolution of conflicts in homes, contributing to a more just and peaceful society. The objective of this research is to verify the correlation that exists between the two variables, in order to formulate strategies that reduce cases of intrafamily violence in the study population, through efficient management by the social worker. The applied methodology was quantitative with a correlational scope. The population corresponded to the 25 families that are part of the program. Among the main conclusions is that, in the study context, there is an inverse relationship between the approaches of the research variables, that is, as long as there are efficient actions on the part of the social worker, in terms of intrafamily violence, the cases tend to decrease, increasing the well-being of families.
