    El presente artículo consiste en analizar la implementación del “Código Púrpura” en las denuncias ingresadas a la Fiscalía de Pichincha, Unidad de Género 3, ubicada en la Av. Amazonas y Ramón Roca durante el confinamiento por COVID-19. Siendo el año 2020 el escenario más hostil de violencia contra la mujer y miembros del núcleo familiar por el encierro a consecuencia de la pandemia. Este protocolo se activa en los Centros Educativos y de Salud, con la finalidad de investigar los delitos de violencia psicológica, física y sexual. El objetivo principal es establecer si la implementación del “Código Púrpura” es suficiente para erradicar la violencia en contra de la mujer o miembros del núcleo familiar; e identificar los factores principales por los cuales las denuncias no llegan a judicializarse. La metodología empleada es la mixta, considerando que se requiere investigar datos de carácter cuantitativo-cualitativo a través de las denuncias ingresadas a la unidad de género 3, por la activación del protocolo “Código Púrpura” y a través de la técnica de investigación de la encuesta practicada se llega a conclusiones sobre el tema abordado.

    This article consists of analyzing the implementation of the "Purple Code" in the complaints submitted to the Pichincha Prosecutor's Office, Gender Unit 3, located at Av. Amazonas and Ramón Roca during the confinement by COVID-19. Being the year 2020 the most hostile scenario of violence against women and members of the family nucleus due to confinement as a result of the pandemic. This protocol is activated in Educational and Health Centers, in order to investigate crimes of psychological, physical and sexual violence. The main objective is to establish whether the implementation of the purple code is sufficient to eradicate violence against women or members of the family nucleus; and identify the main factors for which the complaints do not reach the courts. The methodology used is mixed, considering that it is necessary to investigate quantitative-qualitative data through the complaints filed in gender unit 3, by activating the "Purple Code" protocol and through the survey research technique. practiced, conclusions are reached on the topic addressed.
