    El presente artículo tiene por objeto realizar un exhaustivo estudio de la demanda y la contestación en el juicio verbal tomando como base la regulación procesal vigente y las importantes novedades que introduce en la materia el Proyecto de Ley de medidas de eficiencia procesal del servicio público de Justicia publicado en el Boletín Oficial de las Cortes Generales el 22 de abril de 2022 y en la Ley 12/2023, de 24 de mayo, por el derecho a la vivienda. Partiendo de lo anterior, el trabajo que a continuación se desarrolla tratará de detectar las posibles deficiencias que pueda presentar su regulación y formular al respecto propuestas de lege ferenda que contribuyan a mejorar la ordenación del juicio verbal.

    This article analyses the claim and counterclaim in the field of the so called “verbal trials”. It represents an analysis of the new procedural regulation and the importance of the reform recently proposed by the Procedural Efficiency Measures Bill, as published in the Official Bulletin of the General Courts, on the 22nd of April 2022 and in the Law 12/2023, of 24 May, by the right to housing. The author identifies some important procedural deficiencies in the proposed text, formulating new approaches regarding the establishment of a more efficient rules in the field of “verbal trials”.
