    La investigación parte de la prioridad de analizar las dificultades de los profesores de Cultura Física para asumir la rehabilitación física de las personas obesas, que ellos atienden en la comunidad. El diagnóstico realizado permitió determinar las necesidades de superación mediante la utilización de diferentes métodos de investigación como el análisis – síntesis, el histórico – lógico, el análisis documental, la observación; y técnicas como la encuesta y la entrevista, así como métodos del nivel estadístico y/o procedimientos matemáticos. El diagnóstico se realizó en una muestra de 36 profesores perteneciente a la esfera de actuación: Cultura Física en el municipio Santiago de Cuba, la selección de  la muestra fue intencional, por el motivo de ser matrícula del 1º Curso Básico de  KAEROBICS – DO, y por tener una experiencia profesional entre 5 y 10 años atendiendo a personas obesas. Los resultados obtenidos precisan las principales insuficiencias y necesidades de superación de los profesores de Cultura Física para la rehabilitación física de las personas obesas.

    The investigation leaves of the priority of analyzing the difficulties of the professors of Physical Culture to assume the physical rehabilitation of obese people that they assist in the community. The carried out diagnosis allowed to determine the superación necessities by means of the use of different investigation methods like the analysis - synthesis, the historical one - logical, the documental analysis, the observation; and technical as the survey and the interview, as well as methods of the statistical level and/or mathematical procedures. The diagnosis was carried out in a sample of 36 professors belonging to the performance sphere: Physical culture in the municipality Santiago from Cuba, the selection of the sample was intentional, for the reason of being registration of the 1º Basic Course of KAEROBICS - DO, and to have a professional experience between 5 and 10 years assisting obese people. The obtained results specify the main inadequacies and necessities of the professors' of Physical Culture superación for the physical rehabilitation of obese people.
