    El objetivo del estudio fue traducir, adaptar y obtener las propiedades psicométricas de la Engaged Teachers Scale, ETS, para población argentina. La muestra estuvo formada por 223 participantes de ambos sexos, docentes de escuelas primarias, públicas y privadas, de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires y de la provincia de Entre Ríos, Argentina. Del análisis factorial se obtuvo una varianza explicada del 61.62%, que mantuvo los factores de la prueba original: compromiso cognitivo, compromiso emocional, compromiso social con los colegas y compromiso social con los estudiantes. Para evaluar la consistencia interna de la ETS se calculó el alfa de Cronbach, que arrojó un coeficiente de .85.

    The objective of the study was to translate, adapt and obtain the psychometric properties of the Engaged Teachers Scale, ETS, for the argentine population. The study was carried out in a sample of 223 teachers, both sexes, from public and private primary schools from the provinces of Entre Ríos and Buenos Aires, Argentina. From the factor analysis the result is the existence of four factors that explains 61.62% of the variance, showing that the four factors of the original test were kept: cognitive engagement, emotional engagement, social engagement students, social engagement colleagues. To assess the internal consistency of the ETS, the Cronbach alpha was calculated, showing a coefficient of .85.
