Las representaciones instruccionales proveen al docente, poseedor del conocimiento, de los medios ideales con los que el alumno se apropiará del aprendizaje especifico de cada materia. En este artículo se argumenta la importancia que reviste la utilización del conocimiento didáctico del contenido (CDC) y como este proporciona a los docentes las herramientas necesarias para utilizar las representaciones instruccionales como estrategias de enseñanza. Dichas representaciones hacen el conocimiento comprensible e interesante para el alumno.
The instructional representations provide the teacher, possessor of knowledge, with the ideal means with which the student will appropriate the specific learning of each subject. This article argues the importance of the use of pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) and how it provides teachers with the necessary tools to use instructional representations as teaching strategies. These representations make the knowledge understandable and interesting for the student.
